Obsidian is another great free software to type out and organize class notes. It’s on every platform, does not require a WiFi connection and has many different tools, such as the ability to add your own extensions to suit you better. Markdown formatting is quite common with Obsidian, so there is a small learning curve to take advantage of it completely, but it is worth it. The most popular feature with Obsidian is creating connections between notes, and whenever there is a previous note/page mentioned, a link will be made between the two. Users can look at an overall graph of the connections of all their notes/documents.
